Last week, members of the Heritage Europe team attended the penultimate HUB-IN Consortium Meeting in Brasov, Romania.
Partners and pilot cities came together to discuss the project’s results and alignment with European policy, amongst other topics.
The meeting was also an excellent opportunity to explore Brasov, one of the eight pilot cities in the HUB-IN project.
One of Brasov’s main initiatives was the ‘City as a Classroom’, an educational innovation programme through which pupils and students created prototypes of urban furniture in the historical centre.
As part of the conference, consortium members participated in some of these educational activities, such as a ‘treasure hunt’ around the historic centre. They also tried out the Design Kits from the HUB-IN Summer School and tested the new street furniture created by local students.
Our next meeting will be the final conference in Lisbon in November 2024, which we will share more details about later this month.
